For buyers relocating to the Orlando area from out of state, these aerial views often make the decision before they ever set foot in the home.

FAA Part 107: Why It Matters to You

Not everyone flying a drone near your listing is legal — and that creates liability you may not have considered.

In Florida, commercial drone operations require FAA Part 107 certification. That means the pilot has passed a knowledge test on airspace regulations, weather, radio communications, and safe operating procedures. Flying without it is a federal violation — and if something goes wrong on your listing, the agent and seller could face consequences alongside the operator.

Every drone operator at OPV holds a valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.

Flying Near Disney, OIA, and Orlando's Controlled Airspace

The Orlando metro has some of the most complex airspace in the country. Between Orlando International Airport (OIA), Orlando Executive Airport, and Walt Disney World's Special Flight Rules Area (SFRA), there are significant no-fly zones and authorization requirements across much of Orange County.

What this means practically:

• Flights near Disney require specific authorizations under the SFRA and must be coordinated carefully
• Flights near OIA require LAANC (Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability) approval, which Part 107 pilots can access through the FAA DroneZone system
• Not every property in the Orlando area can be legally flown — we'll tell you upfront if your listing has airspace restrictions

What Good Aerial Photography Shows

The difference between useful aerial photography and generic overhead shots is intent. We shoot aerials with a purpose:
